I’d just like to point out the parallels and difference in Haru’s reactions between this scene in High Speed!
"I want to try swimming in the medley relay, and not just because Matsuoka-kun asked me to. So…Haru, let’s swim it together. If you’re not there, if it’s not you, then it’s no good. I…
"Love is when you look into someone’s eyes and see their heart." - Jill Petty.
Its a pretty adorable quote and all, but what I instantly thought of made my heart melt.
“Suddenly, Haruka looked Makoto straight in the eyes. The evening sun glowed in his pupils, and Makoto felt as though he…
waiting for HS2 to release :v
shoutout to high speed 2 for mentioning that makoto and haru’s relationship isn’t brotherly, that it is much deeper than that, and that their hearts are connected

Nanase Haruka, High Speed 2
Guys. Can we just. Take some time to fully comprehend the meaning of this. Haru’s words. Swimming is meaningless without Makoto. (he thinks this earlier too). In HS2 he even bunks swim practice a few times and stops swimming because IT IS MEANINGLESS WITHOUT MAKOTO. And now he’s saying he would rather PLAY BASKETBALL THAN SWIM. Nanase Haruka would rather do another sport than freaking SWIM. Because Makoto is there. So basketball will be better than swimming. Makoto’s presence alone is enough to do that.
…seriously guys, who said Haru was obsessed with swimming? HS2 makes me think he’s more obsessed with Makoto. Seriously. Read it.(via levi-ackerman-1)
